The Customs Collection and Control Agency (ARCA) announced today (10/21/2025), through Circular 2/2025, the entry into force of Forty-sixth Additional Protocol to the Economic Complementation Agreement No. 14, relating to “Agreement on the Common Automotive Policy" between Argentina and Brazil, celebrated on April 29, 2025.
The Protocol establishes new conditions for automotive products, including the updating of tariff items and specific origin requirements, with the aim of promoting the development of the automotive industry and trade in automotive products between both countries.
The agreement entered into force on June 17, 2025. and the full text is available on the ARCA website: https://www.arca.gob.ar.
The measure was enacted to facilitate the correct application of the Protocol by foreign trade operators.
