The National Tax Court has announced the extension of the extraordinary fair for customs competition initially scheduled from May 2 to May 27, through the Resolution 47 / 2022.
The regulation, published this Wednesday (01.06.2022), indicated that in view of the accumulation of tasks due to the move of the Court, an extension of the fair has been resolved, from May 30 to June 3.
On its website, the agency stated that All days that are not working for procedural purposes can be consulted in the “Calendar of non-working days” section of the site.
He also reported that, in regards to the move, during the first period the nine customs offices and the Presidency area were moved, which implied a large movement of documentation, files and work material. This was done while waiting for the general works on the ground floor of Alsina 470 to be finished, specifically in the area where the General Secretariats of Customs and Tax Affairs will be installed with their respective Entry Desks.
It was also noted that, having completed said works at the end of the established Fair, it was necessary to extend said non-working period for procedural purposes so that the General Customs Secretariat could permanently settle in the new headquarters.
Finally, the Court clarified that the move is following the stipulated schedule, and as the building adaptation tasks are completed, the offices of the tax authority and all areas dependent on the General Coordination of Administrative Affairs will follow suit.
The extraordinary fair began on May 2 and has been extended once: June 3.
